Join us for a unique day for riders that will leave you inspired, empowered, connected – and more ready than ever to ride!

Join Liz Jansen and Ila Sisson on a journey – a road trip – along our own path to awareness. Riding a motorcycle proficiently requires confidence, courage, flexibility, an ability to manage risk and a sense of adventure. This highly interactive day will use a combination of facilitated self-awareness exercises and carefully designed creative exercises to develop greater clarity, insight, awareness of qualities you may not be giving yourself credit for.

Ila is a holistic healer, photographer, teacher, counselor, author – and rider – with a thriving healing arts practice in Orangeville, Ontario. She is active in the community, facilitating positive change through her work with individuals and groups

During this Retreat, you will:

* Learn about strengths you use while riding and how those translate into other areas of your life
* Identify and build on your own strengths
* Discover how to use the energy of resistance constructively
* Apply learnings to your personal and professional life

You will leave with a new self-awareness, resources and a plan of action for personal transformation – and a connection to other riders just like you!

Cost: $150.00 plus tax, light lunch and snacks included.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received more than 31 days from start date will be fully refunded less a $50 admin fee. No refunds will be issued within 30 days of start date.

We realize that emergency situations can arise. Only in such circumstances and based on our sole discretion will consideration be given for a one time opportunity to transfer your registration to a future retreat date within 12 months, provided we do not incur expenses as a result of your cancellation.

Sacred Healing Fire and celebration of the
Winter Solstice

The Fire burns for 4 days and 3 nights. You are welcome at any time of the day or night. We will feast at the end of the Fire’s burning
Let us come together to honour ourselves, our families,
our communities and our Sacred Mother Earth

The energy of the Sacred Healing Fire at Willowgreen Farm from May 1999 to September 2003 has been rekindled in a beautiful lodge at glamorum. This Sacred Healing Fire embraces many paths. All People are invited to share the teachings and ceremonies of the Sacred Healing Fire. Come and experience the healing power and beauty of the Sacred Land and Water that are the container for this gift from Spirit.

Our intent for healing, peace and balance is strengthened by the power of the Sacred Healing Fire and by speaking and sharing our intent with others. Together we bring healing for our Selves, others and Mother Earth.

The Opening Ceremony will begin at 7:00 a.m. on Monday the 19th with the lighting of the
Fire. There will be a sunrise and sunset ceremony each day at 7:00am and 7:00 pm. The
solstice time is Thursday, December 22nd 12:30 am – just after midnight (Wed night/Thurs morning) and Solstice Ceremonies will be at midnight . The Closing Ceremony at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday will also be a Solstice Ceremony. There will be Feasting of the Sacred Fire when the Fire finishes burning between 8:30 and 9:00 pm. If you can, please bring food to share. All are welcome!

WHERE? On the land at glamorum, 633206 Highway 10 which is just north of Orangeville. From the south: 401 to 410, 410 onto Highway 10 / Hurontario (the last exit). Come north through Caledon Village, through Orangeville, north of the First Street exit off Hwy 10, across from the Royal used car dealership on the west side of Hwy 10, just south of the Monora Park entrance. Look for the yellow sign for “glamorum”.

SEVEN new drums were created on September 10th and were awakened during the Fall Sacred Healing Fire. Thank you to the new drum carriers for taking this responsibility to carry the great teacher and healer that is the Drum.

SACRED DRUM MAKING WORKSHOP

Drums carry the heartbeat of all creation
Come and learn about this sacred healing tool
Come and make your own Sacred Healing Drum

During this workshop we will share teachings about
making and caring for the drum, the sacred responsibility of
being a drum keeper
and the healing powers of drums.

There will be an awakening ceremony for your drum
three to four weeks after the making of your drum.

WHAT TO BRING: Tobacco for honouring your drum and teacher. Any stones or large holed beads you want to work into the webbing
The workshop cost is $120.00 for a 12”/15” drum(sizes may vary). An advance of $55.00 is requested for materials. (75 First Street, Suite 402, Orangeville, ON L9W 5B6). Payment can be made on-line or with MasterCard/Visa. Call Ila to arrange it.
Please note that children are welcome. Their drums are smaller and the cost is less.

Morning snack and a light early afternoon vegetarian meal will be provided.
If you have allergies or special needs please advise us or you may
want to bring your own food.
